Countywide Action Plan (CAP)
What is CAP?
The Lebanon Countywide Action Plan (CAP) is a dynamic and adaptive plan summarizing approaches and tracking implementation efforts for local water quality improvements.
In an effort to improve and protect our local waters and natural resources, Lebanon County is taking steps to carefully plan for the most cost effective projects that will provide benefits to us locally as well as to our neighboring communities and ultimately to the Chesapeake Bay.
THE GOAL
HOW?
The planning approach will align sectors (agriculture, urban/suburban, economic development, transportation, etc.) to accomplish cohesive water quality goals across the county.
why?
More than half of Lebanon County’s waterways are impaired. This makes us a perfect candidate to implement restoration and conservation efforts to improve and maintain our clean water.
